The Marley Brothers were in the city this past Sunday night at Budweiser Stage as part of their “Legacy” tour. Being a huge fan of their music, it’s always a treat seeing them perform – we caught Stephen and Damien Marley at History back in March, and it was an absolutely packed event full of good vibes, and this latest one was even better!
It was great seeing the 5 brothers perform together because each one of them – Stephen, Damian, Ziggy, Julian, and Ky-Mani, are all ultra talented musicians. The night started out with “Natural Mystic”, and was followed by all of their hits like: “I Shot the Sheriff”, “Wake Up and Live”, “Three Little Birds”, “Is This Love”, “Buffalo Soldier”, “Jamming”, and more. It was a beautiful night in the city and the sold out crowd was vibing, singing, and dancing along to all the songs, that were impeccably performed by the brothers.
It was our last coverage of the season at Budweiser Stage until springtime when they open up their doors once again, and it was great to end it off with some of my favourite performers. If you’ve never caught them live, this is me telling you right now that their show is an absolute must-see!
