Without a shred of a doubt, the biggest superstar on the planet, Taylor Swift, graced Toronto this past Thursday night as part of night one out of 6 completely sold out nights she has in Toronto as part of her Eras Tour – yes, you heard that right, she sold out the Rogers Centre for 6 NIGHTS! At a capacity of 40k, that’s 240k people that will be seeing her over these 6 days. I don’t think I’ve ever heard artists sell out tours for more than 2 nights, let alone 6, but that’s just one of the things that make Taylor so special.
Swifties were seen all around Toronto in their sequin tops, dresses, and friendship bracelets galore. The entire city had special drinks, desserts, menu options, etc. just for the tour, I mean, we even renamed a city for her, and the hype was definitely worth it because the concert was amazing. Coming in at just over 3 hours or so, the setlist was filled with hits, hits, and more hits that had the entire Rogers Centre crowd singing along. There was even a moment around the middle of the concert where the entire crowd cheered her on for around 5 minutes straight as Taylor looked on at the crowd speechless. The fans in Toronto have some major love for Taylor and she let them know that her and everyone else sees it and appreciates it. Shoutout to Taylor and her entire team for such an incredible tour!
