It was the first time ever in Toronto, the inaugural “HOT IN HERRE” festival came to Downsview Park, and it was absolutely off the hook! If you missed out, you really missed out, and better hope that they’re doing it again next summer, which by the looks of it, seems like a real probability! Hard to estimate how many people came out, but I’d say there was easily at least 30k+ people there.

The lineup was crazy: Nelly, Ne-Yo, Akon, Rick Ross, T.I, Fat Joe, Ja Rule, Keri Hilson, and Chingy – with everything hosted by the one and only, Toronto’s OG, Kardinal Offishall. All the artists came out and put it down for the city, they were almost to the dot of their set times (which fans certainly always appreciate).

There was a ton of great food vendors all throughout, and the lineups were expectedly huge for any one of them. Those that got VIP admission, were treated to their own sectioned off VIP area, with the perk of moderately better and AC’d bathrooms than the usual porta potties – so hint, for next year pay a little extra for VIP, trust me, it’s worth it, you’re much closer to the stage.

Not much more to say, rather than to reiterate once again that those who missed this festival truly missed a great time with some amazing summer vibes. Shoutout to the Hot In Herre team for putting on a great festival. Enjoy the pics from the show below, we’re already looking forward to next year!
