The H.S. Reunion tour made it’s way to Toronto on July 26th, bringing some absolute OG’s of music to the city! Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, Too $hort, Warren G, and Berner graced Budweiser stage and lit it up for the city, both figuratively and literally lol. Berner being the CEO of the weed company Cookies most definitely kept all the artists well supplied, but also the crowd, they were throwing out gift packs and samples all throughout the concert.
It was great seeing these legends of music. It was Too $hort’s first time ever performing in Toronto and he gave mad love to the crowd. Warren G did his thing and gave it up for the late great Nate Dogg with a couple of his tracks. The vibes at Budweiser Stage were incredible, Toronto was loud and rapping along, especially for Wiz and Snoop. Wiz set it off with “Black and Yellow” along with “Or Nah” and all his other top tracks, while Snoop rolled onto the stage in an appropriately pimped up whip, smoking some weed, and setting it off with “The Next Episode” to a roaring crowd.
They did what everyone expected them to do – they killed it! Amazing crowd, atmosphere, and performances, they’re always welcome in Toronto!
