Toronto was lucky enough to be the 1st North American date of Pink’s Summer Carnival tour, which is supporting her 9th Studio Album, Trustfall. In return for making us the 1st stop, Toronto came out in numbers to a completely sold out show! Grouplove and Brandi Carlile opened up for her and they both killed it, especially Brandi, her vocals were amazing. Check them both out if you haven’t heard of them before, they’re definitely a good listen.
The concert was fantastic and such a fun vibe, bright lights, and great music. When Pink decides to hang it up and retire from music, she can easily go and join Cirque du Soleil, because her acrobatics during the show were amazing. It’s rare to see something like that at a concert, and she was swinging and dangling up high while still crushing the vocals.
Seeing Pink interact with fans was also a treat, as she signed t-shirts, posters, books, etc. all in between and sometimes during her songs. The fans love her so no wonder the show was sold out. She’s off to Cincinnati for her next tour stop, but here’s the pics from Toronto, enjoy!
